"The album title alone is a deft double entendre: On one hand, it evokes “suite” as in a collection of songs, and on the other, it invents “hang suite” as a hip euphemism for the celebrity hotel suite. No matter how it's interpreted, sit back and chill to the infectious beats and smooth piano styles of Gabe Carmona. As always, Carmona's piano work is well represented with its spatial performance that is never overwrought or overplayed.

The same can be said for the simple and assuming mellow madness of Baby Love. This track sets the tone of the album with a sensual tease between the guitar, piano, and playful timpani hits. In perfect contrast, The Gift is hauntingly stunning and is only further accentuated by its inspiring guitar work. Musically, this album is sure to connect with past-time R&B lovers, as well as inspire upcoming producers. Although Gabe has spent his career as a keys-man within other groups, this debut solo album is a true gem.

Revisiting my R&B roots, Touch takes you back to the smooth sounds of 90s R&B. Here, I channeled my early influences of Guy, Levert, Blackstreet, Jodeci, Mint Condition, Sade, Joe, Keith Sweat, New Edition, and others. Tonight Girl conveniently describes The G Suite’s atmospherics with sexy sax hooks and piano solos. With My Love (My Baby), I created to to capture the essence of my love for my muse...my wife. In its truest form, My Love is the sound of love. 1218 Interlude provides yet another series of smooth teasing chords and melody hinting at my next album set for ~2024.

Staying true to my ambient and branded production style, I created Timeless, which was recently approved by The National Geographic Channel for broadcast placement for the use of Icelandic footage for the show, "One Strange Rock". Rounding out with It's U and ending with Wifey, I hope you all enjoy this debut album. I appreciate your emails, comments, and continued support.

Producer Gabe Carmona's Notes:

When I took on this project, I knew this was one that didn't need "much". Keeping the ambiance and essence of the song's message was key. After listening to the track many times, I could hear piano riffs (upper octaves), and other musical synth adds within the track that I would eventually add as additional layers. Of course, remaining mindful to not interrupt Justin's vocal delivery was key. There aren't too many songs I take on for remixes these days, but this is one that truly connected with me.

So on the morning of February 7th, 2021, I mastered the version now approved by of UMG, UMPI, BMI and others to Youtube.
